PokeMetrix only collects information needed to run accounts, community features, watchlists, messaging, moderation, and market tools.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we store your email address, username, nickname, password hash, profile details you choose to add, avatar path, watchlist items, community posts, replies, friend requests, private messages, and moderation status.

Security and Login Data

We store passwords as hashes, not plain text. We may record security activity such as IP hashes, user agent strings, rate-limit events, login times, and account actions to protect the site from abuse.

Community and Messages

Community posts and profile information may be visible to other users. Private messages are intended for the sender and recipient, but admins may review chats when needed for abuse reports, scams, threats, or moderation disputes.

Uploads

If you upload an avatar or profile card image, the file may be stored on the server and displayed on your profile or community content. Do not upload private, illegal, or copyrighted material you do not have permission to use.

Cookies and Sessions

PokeMetrix uses secure session cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms with CSRF tokens. Your browser may also store local watchlist or vote preferences for convenience.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share information if required by law, to protect users, to investigate abuse, or to operate hosting, email, analytics, or database services used by the site.

Your Choices

You can update your profile, change your password, delete your own community posts, or contact the site owner to request account help or removal. Some records may be retained where needed for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
